Bruce Hannon Obituary

Bruce Hannon, 58, of Matthews, N.C., formerly of West Mifflin, passed away Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, in Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte, N.C. Mr. Hannon was born June 17, 1952, in Pittsburgh. He was the son of Margaret Bozurich, of West Mifflin, and the late Michael Bozurich. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Hannon. Bruce retired after 34 years of proud service with Sears and Roebuck Company and he was a Past Master of Masonic Lodge 641 in McKeesport. In addition to his mother, Bruce is survived by his beloved wife, Carol M. (Koontz) Hannon; and his children, Amy (Mark) Roper, of Cayse, S.C., Dana (Domingo) Palois, of Charlotte, N.C., and Daniel (Erika) Hannon, of Concord, N.C.; and his brothers, James Hannon, of Valrico, Fla., and William Hannon, of Pittsburgh; and by six grandchildren whom he dearly loved. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at McEwen - Mint Hill Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev.
