Denise Lynn Withers, 45, of Elizabeth Township, formerly of Clairton, passed away at home on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013. Born Feb. 9, 1967, in El Paso, Texas, she was a daughter of Duane R. and Dianne (Cochran) Halt, of Lincoln Borough. Denise worked as a practice manager at Kid's Plus Pediatrics in Pleasant Hills and was a social bowler with the Lucky Strikes League. She loved NASCAR, but more importantly loved and enjoyed life to its fullest. Besides her parents, Denise is survived by her three sons, Jake and Nathan M. Withers, who lived with her, and Mike Brown, of Jefferson Hills; her sisters, Renee Parkinson, of Lincoln Borough, and Georgette (Jeff) Ayres, of North Huntingdon; her twin brother, Duane (Heather) Halt, of Elizabeth; her former husband, Mark E. Withers, of Elizabeth; her fiance, Eric Hartley, of Monongahela; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, in the PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 221 N. Second Ave., Elizabeth, PA 15037 (412-384-4344).
