Grace A. Wise

Grace A. Wise, age 85, on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at her residence. She was born in Pittsburgh on July 7, 1917, the daughter of the late William and Emma (Meinert) Slomer. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wise was preceded in death by her husbands, Andrew J. Wise and Walter Kanary. Grace was a homemaker most of her life. Mrs. Wise is survived by a daughter, Andrea Wise of Etna; a son, Martin J. Wise and his wife, Dorothy, of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Julie and Andrew Wise, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 388 Center Ave., West View, a "Pursuit of Excellence" Award Firm, www.schellhaasfuneralhome.com. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Athanasius Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Norton officiating. Interment will follow in St. Casimir Cemetery.
