John R. D'Alessandro

John Rocco "Johnny" D'Alessandro, 74, of Bethel Park, fell asleep with the Lord on Saturday, July 2, 2005. Husband of Barbara M. (Ryaby) D'Alessandro of 38 years. Son of Mary (Iannotti) D'Alessandro Kocan and Michael Kocan, of West Mifflin, and the late Pasquale "Patsy" D'Alessandro. Father of Denise (Sebastian) Perez, Debi Parra and Pati Barbosa, all of California, Christy D'Alessandro, of South Park, John Jr. "J.D." (Karla), of Finleyville, Mark (Vera), of South Park, and Barbie D'Alessandro (Richie Brunetti), of South Park. Brother of Anna Mary (Kocan) (Gary) Galiyas, of West Mifflin, and the late Sammy D'Alessandro. Grandfather of 20 and great-grandfather of 13. John was a member of the John A. Braeshear Masonic Lodge, the B.P.O.E., the American Legion of Bethel Park and he was an honorary member of the Broughton V.F.D. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, where a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Gregory of Nazianzus Byzantine Church, Upper St. Clair. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Park.
