Margaret E. Payne, 72, of Clairton, formerly of New York City, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Jefferson Hills. She was born July 13, 1937, in West Elizabeth, daughter of the late Roger Berton and Pearl Marie (Ammond) Biddle. She worked for the former Woolworth Company, in New York City, retiring after 30 years. She was also a restaurant manager. After returning to Clairton from New York City, she was a former waitress at the St. Clair Restaurant. Survivors include her sisters, Nancy (Jerry) Angotti, of Clairton, and Laurel (Gilbert) Smith, of Liberty; brother, Brett (Kathy) Biddle, of Clairton; also survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Biddle. No viewing, visitation or services are scheduled. Arrangements handled by A.J.
