Catherine C. Barclay

Catherine C. "Kay" (Crilley) Barclay, 92, a lifelong resident of East Pittsburgh, died Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry C. "Hank" Barclay for 39 years; loving and treasured mother of James P. (late Kathy) Barclay, of Florida, Thomas (Fran) Barclay, of Robinson Township, Mary Yvonne "Bonnie" (Bruce) Olsson, of McKeesport, and Roberta "Bobbie" (Michael) McLaughlin, of North Huntingdon; and dear grandmother of Scott Olsson, James (Sara) Barclay and Kaitlyn Barclay, Bradley and Samantha Barclay. Kay was proud to be the great-grandmother of Shane Olsson, James and Blaklee Barclay; and sister of the late James Crilley. Kay was also survived by five nieces; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Kay worked at various positions during her life, including at the Brown Dairy Co. in East Pittsburgh, Walmart in North Versailles and as a school crossing guard in East Pittsburgh. She was a voracious reader and was known for making her homemade jellies. Kay also enjoyed visiting casinos and trying her luck at scratch-off lottery tickets. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, her visitation and blessing service will be private to her family. Kay will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are with PATRICK T.
