Dale E. Henderson

1927 - 2025

Dale E. Henderson, 97, of Salem Township, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, at Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg. He was born on Sept. 30, 1927, in Allegheny County, McKeesport Station, to the late Wilbur M. and Alice (Frantz) Henderson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Aleta (Ruffner) Henderson; and seven brothers and sisters. Dale was an electrical technician at New York State Natural Gas Corp., which later became Consolidated Gas Supply and then Dominion Energy. Dale is survived by his two daughters, Marilyn Louise Henderson of Salem Township and Carol (Larry) Lightfoot of Schuylkill Haven; his two grandchildren, Drew Lightfoot of California and Sara (Christopher) Schall of Georgia; and two great-granddaughters, Claire and Emma Schall. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their families. Arrangements entrusted to Bash-Nied-Jobe Funeral Home, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont (724-468-8381). Interment will be private at Twin Valley Memorial Park.
