Debra M. Bowser, 66, of Greensburg, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2023, at Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg. She was born Dec. 25, 1956, in Connellsville, a daughter of Mabel (Basinger) Auer and the late Harold Auer. Prior to retirement, she had been a postal carrier for the United States Postal Service. Debra was an avid gardener, baker, and enjoyed cooking. She loved Volkswagen vehicles and collecting tea pots. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Houston; and an infant child, Baby Houston. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Kate Boone and Stephen Boone (Alicia); two grandchildren, Vanessa and Caiden; her brother, Duane Auer (Debbie); two sisters, Cynthia "Tammie" Estes and Lori Aretta (Robert II); and seven nieces and nephews, Sara, Christopher, Robert III, Molly, Lauren, Jacob, and Nicole. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Chris Campbell officiating.
