James T. Kerr

James "Jim" T. Kerr, 75, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022. He was the loving husband of the late Linda (Ryan) Kerr, who died in 2004. He was born the son of the late S. Grant Sr. and Eleanor (Main) Kerr. He was the dear father of Cindy (Norman) Kemerer, of Apollo, and the late James T. (surviving spouse Jennifer) Kerr Jr., of Claridge; proud grandfather of Michael (Kimberley) and Erica (fiance Dylan Marin) Kemerer, James Kerr III and Tyler (fiancee Maddie Moore) Kerr; treasured great-grandfather of Garrett and Charlotte Kerr; brother of Barbara Aska, of California, Carol (Gary) Shearer, of Arkansas, and the late S. Grant Kerr Jr.; beloved pet owner of his dog, Rascal, and his cat, Angel; and also survived by many other nieces, nephews, friends and family. Jim served during the Vietnam War in the Navy. He was an avid sportsman and a lifetime member of the McKeesport Sportsman Association. Jim enjoyed woodworking in his shop and had fun going to the range and shooting. Friends are welcome from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022, at PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY INC., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350, where a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., followed by military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
