Kenneth E. Darr

1932 - 2021

Kenneth E. Darr, 88, of Stahlstown, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 4, 2021, with his loving family by his side. Born July 18, 1932, in Donegal Township, he was a son of the late Allen P. and Beulah (Lenhart) Darr. Kenneth served in the Air Force during the Korean War and retired from Latrobe Steel after 33 years of dedicated service. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Wilbur Darr; and former wife and mother of his children, Maxine (Porterfield) Darr. Kenneth leaves behind his beloved children, Marge (Larry Smith) Ulery and Wesley (Cindy) Darr; two grandchildren, Angela Wtorkiewicz and Jeremy (Elaina) Darr; three great-grandchildren, Tristan, Analeigh and Camden; and a brother, Allen P. (Bonnie) Darr Jr. Family and friends will be received Wednesday, April 7, 2021, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SNYDER-GREEN FUENRAL HOME, INC., 402 East Church Street, Ligonier, (724-238-2611). The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 8 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in Donegal Cemetery. Per CDC guidelines: masks are required upon entry and social distancing will be observed.
