Sandra R. Rosen

1936 - 2017

Sandra R. "Sue" (Platt) Rosen, 80, of Latrobe, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born Sept. 24, 1936, in Uniontown, she was a daughter of the late Abraham and Mildred (Saxen) Platt. Sue taught for 42 years in the Pittsburgh Public Schools and, after retirement, was employed at various day care centers in the area. She was an auxiliary member of the Latrobe Volunteer Fire Department Hook and Ladder Company No. 2 and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star No. 221 Sue is survived by one daughter, Mindy Rosen-Stadler and her cherished and much-loved son-in-law, Richard Stadler, of Latrobe; and the absolute "apple of her eye," and most cherished grandson, Logan Stadler and his girlfriend, Becca Huling. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the children who Sue taught that brightened her life in so many ways.
There were no public visitations. Services and interment were private. Arrangements were handled by the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe.
