Charles W. Miller

1927 - 2018

Charles William Miller, 90, of Marysville, Ohio, formerly of Creighton, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at Prestige Gardens Nursing Home in Marysville. An entrepreneur, he was an insurance agent for many years. He also was an associate of Gulf Research in Harmarville and an East Deer Township commissioner. A member of Bull Creek Presbyterian Church in Tarentum, he was a veteran of the Navy and served during World War II. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the VFW. Born July 16, 1927, in Natrona Heights, to the late William and Mabel Hawkins Miller, he was also predeceased by two sisters-in-law, Irene McGraw and Eleanor Miller; and two brothers-in-law, Pete McGraw and Bill Vrudney. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Helen Vrudney Miller; his children, Larry (Brenda) Miller, of Marysville, Paula Sue Bennett Miller and Dave Miller, both of Columbus, Ohio, and Jeff Miller, of Marysville; his grandchildren, Tim (Jennifer) Miller, Danny Bennett, Justin Bennett and Taylor Miller; great-grandsons, Payne and Lucas Miller; a brother, Melvin Miller; a sister, Lois (Paul) Dunbar; a sister-in-law, Peggy Vrudney; and nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date with interment in Tarentum. UNDERWOOD FUNERAL HOME in Marysville is assisting the family.
