Ralph K. Painter

1929 - 2024

Ralph K. Painter, 95, of Allegheny Township, passed away on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, in his home. Born Sept. 4, 1929, in Apollo, he was the son of the late Emil and Mary (Miller) Painter. Ralph attended Elder's Ridge High School, he worked at Allegheny Ludlum in West Leechburg, for 42 years, before retiring in 1994. He enjoyed driving his 1967 Buick Electra convertible, watching wrestling on Friday nights. Ralph loved animals, especially feeding the birds and tinkering around the house. He was a member of the Sheriffs Association. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Painter; brothers, Harry Painter, Clarence Painter, Leland Painter, and Donald Painter; sister, Donna Rumbaugh. Ralph is survived by his son, Ralph G. (Diane Flemm) Painter; daughter, Bonnie L. (James) Walters; grandchildren, Tracy, Michelle, Nicole, and Lauren; great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Ian, Allison, and Carley; and great-great-grandchild, Mavrick. Friends will be received in the CURRAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 300 Market St., Leechburg, on Wednesday, Dec. 11th, 2024, from 1:00 p.m., until the hour of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m., Pastor Lee Rupert officiating.
