Glenda Selmel-Horn Obituary

Glenda (Brandy) Selmel-Horn Beloved wife, mother and friend, has gone to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven on April 25, 2007. Present were her husband, William (Bill), many relatives and friends. She is now the angel upon our shoulders. Brandy is survived by her husband Bill of 36 years, her children William (Will) Horn, Tracy Selmel, and daughter Shawntia Horn, her brother, David Selmel, her step-father, Carl Hoopes, and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Sehmel and Daisy Hoopes, and her brother Donald Selmel. Brandy was born in Tacoma, Washington on February 11, 1950. Brandy loved life with her husband Bill and their many friends. What she loved most was the long rides they would take on their Harley, or as Bill would call it, their "scooter". Brandy's life will be celebrated by services at Renewed Life, 10209 Bridgeport Way, Lakewood, on Saturday, May 5 at 11:30AM. Brandy will be laid to rest at Fir Lane Cemetery, 92417 176th St., E., Spanaway, and a special gathering for family and friends will take place at The Arches, Highway 7 at the Roy Y after the graveside services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial benefit fund for Brandy Horn to assist in funeral expenses has been established at the Wells Fargo Bank.
