He grew up in Tacoma's north end, attending Holy Cross School, Bellarmine HS, Stadium HS and was in the first graduating class at Wilson HS in 1959. After high school Jim attended WSU where he was in the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He also attended UW. In 1966 he married Lucine Phair of Puyallup. They had two children, Shannon & Aaron. Jim retired from the WA State DOT Ferry System, Terminal Engineering in 1997 after working there for more than 30 years. I am so sorry to hear this, losing a loved one is never easy, but our loving God promises to give the strength and courage you'll need to endure, and to cope with the pain of your loss. He also promises to hold your hand every step of the way. (Isaiah 40:29, 41:10, 13) May loving memories also sustain your family during this difficult time. With heartfelt sympathy, your neighbor
