Sally Helmbrecht Obituary

Sally Louise (Trapp) Helmbrecht, age 83, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Schneck Medical Center. She was born on April 21, 1939 to the late James Trapp and the late Mary (Jaynes) Trapp. Sally was a feisty, loving, giving lady that would help anyone she could. She was stern and "said what she meant and meant what she said". She loved bowling, her grandchildren and the many dogs that she has had over the years. The family will forever treasure the memories of her mac and cheese and her holiday dressing.

She is survived by her one son, Kevin Helmbrecht and his life partner, Sonja Wessel of Seymour, Indiana, one daughter, Robin Carpenter and her life partner, Kevin Beed of Seymour, Indiana. Two grandchildren, Brady Carpenter and Bryce Carpenter and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Tommy Trapp and Johnny Trapp and one sister, Joann Brock.

In keeping with her wishes, the family has chosen creamation.
