ALICE JEANETTE (FIX) OLSON

Alice Jeanette (Fix) Olson, 69, of Pasco, WA, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2007, with her family by her side.
Alice was born to Christian and Gertrude Fix on July 20, 1938, in Yakima, WA.
Her childhood was spent in Yakima where she attended St. Joseph's Academy and later married Donald Jabus Olson in 1956.
Alice loved babies! Her life-long career as a mother and homemaker was definitely her passion as she raised her nine children. Most would not realize that it was actually mom who taught us how to play ball. She was the backbone of the family who stood silently cheering in the background as she watched her family shine.
Alice is survived by her children: Kerri (John) Manterola, Kathi (Karl) Eppich, Kelli (Rayn) Smith, Kim (Lee) Pregler, Kandi (Ray) van Heel, Kristi (Michael) Wylie, Donald Olson, Daniel (Samantha) Olson, and Kori (Jason) Warrenfeltz; grandchildren: Tia (Dustin), Allison (Nate), Kyle (Natalie), John Jr., Heidi (Matthew), Keldon (Melanie), Megan (Mike), Cody (Jodie), Kacie, Cole, Laurin, Nicole, Tim, Jonathan, Jeremy, Christopher, Nathan, Misha, Mykael, Elijah, Joshua, Caleb, Hayden and Sydney; great-grandchildren: Alexis, Alex, Taylor, Dallas, Kylie, Lydia, and Olivia; sisters and brothers: Chris (Chuck) Mix, Christian (Debbie) Fix, Daniel (Helen) Fix, Lousie (Mike) Morris, David (Arlene) Fix and Rick (Tammy) Fix.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Don; her parents, Chris and Gertrude Fix; her sister, Beverly; and her brother, Randy.
A private family graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 20th at 10 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, bypass highway, Richland, WA.
A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of Joy, 1153 Gage Blvd., Richland, WA.
