TIMOTHY PEGRAM

Tim Pegram, age 68, passed away on November 22, 2013 while vacationing in Nevada. Born in Nampa, Idaho on November 20, 1945 Tim spent his adolescent years in Othello, WA graduating from Othello High School in 1964. After serving his country in the US Army, Tim worked for the Milwaukee Railroad for a period of time. He then married Linda Boatman in 1969 and they settled in Kent, WA where he had a long and successful career in the metal trades industry designing, building and installing custom air-bearing systems throughout the United States. He retired as a shop foreman from Hov-Air Inc. in 1999, and he and Linda moved to Meridian, ID to begin retirement. However, Tim became bored quickly and went back to work. First as a member of a golf course grounds crew, and later as a Special Needs Assistant to children in the Meridian School District transportation department, a job he said he wished he could have had forever, he enjoyed it so much. In 2010, he and Linda again relocated, this time to Kennewick, WA where they currently reside.

Tim is survived by his wife Linda of forty-four years, daughter Tiffiney Pegram of Meridian, ID and grandchildren Brian and Jordyn. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Dannie (Keta) Pegram of Othello and Larry (Brenda) Pegram of Goldendale, WA and his soul brother Ric (Vera) Yurisich of Cashmere, WA . His sisters-in-law Cheryl Vasquez of Boise, ID, and Betty (Sid) Hoagland of Seattle, WA as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior Pegram and Ruby Pegram Hanks.

Per Tim's wishes there will be no immediate service. A celebration of his life will be held at a later determined date in the spring of 2014 in the mountains above Conconully, WA where he spent many happy times hunting, fishing and relaxing with his forever brother Ric. The family suggests that memorial contributions in his honor may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
