Bouchard, Francis "Frank"

Frank Bouchard, age 81, died in Tucson, AZ on February 28, 2022 after a brief illness. He was born and raised in Witherbee, NY and graduated from Mineville High School. Following graduation, he served for 4 years in the US Army and then attended SUNY Morrisville where he obtained his Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. He made his home in Rochester, NY for 38 years and then in Tucson for the 20 years that followed.

In Rochester, he worked for Bausch & Lomb and its successor companies in numerous roles including V.P. of Operations and Quality Manager. His passion for quality led him to form his own Quality Management consulting business in 1998. He found great success and satisfaction in this role in both Rochester and Tucson before finally retiring the business on his 80th birthday.

Frank was deeply committed to community service and his religious family. He was very active with the Boy Scouts of America for over 40 years and held leadership positions at both the local and national level during this time. His contributions were recognized with the Silver Antelope award in 2018. He found great enjoyment and enrichment being part of the church community while also pursuing his own spirituality journey. His personal interests were many, and included traveling, bird-watching, journaling, and spending quality time with his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife, Consolee; children, Deborah (Sean Street), James (Inge) and their mother, Susan; and children, Jessie Baldwin (Chris), Diane, Basile, Joyeuse, Didier, and Merveille. He is also survived by grandchildren, brothers, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife, Deborah.

Funeral services will take place at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Tucson, Arizona in the Sanctuary on Saturday, March 5th at 1:00 p,m. Donations in his memory can be made to the Tucson Refugee Ministry.
