Dear Maryann and Linda
I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am for both of you. Losing Karl is a huge loss for anyone that knew him because of the amazing person that he was.
Honestly one of the nicest people I think I've ever met. He had a huge heart. He deeply cared for everyone. He was always in a good mood, had a contagious smile, very kind and you could tell that he really enjoyed spending time with everyone. My entire family sends their love and thoughts to you both. Please know that we're thinking of you and will remember Karl

I had lost track of Karl for decades when I finally ran into him at a grocery store in Agawam. He was such a lovely man who never seemed unhappy even when things might not have gone his way. But whenever he was around other people, especially those of us in the St George Olympian drum and bugle corps who hung out with him, Karl made everyone smile and laugh like it was just another great day to be alive. I will miss him a great deal and wish his whole family nothing but the best. We were all very lucky to know such a special person. With deepest condolences and much affection. -Stamos
