Virginia Gingerich Obituary

Virginia Ruth Gingerich 86, of Tucson, Arizona passed away November 16, 2010. She departed this life peacefully in Prescott Valley, AZ, surrounded by her family. Virginia was born in Wayland, Iowa on September 2, 1924 to Fred and Ethel Hixson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. Gingerich; son, David E. Gingerich; brother, Ward E. Hixson and grandson, Shaun D. Gingerich. Virginia is survived by her sons, Kenny Meyer (Connie) and Gary Gingerich; daughters, Donna Meyer Bertsch and Sonja Gingerich Crichton (Scott). Virginia leaves behind her grandchildren, Dawn Meyer, Karry Meyer (Mary), LeRoy Bertsch, Donald Bertsch (Nubia), Brooks Gingerich, Wendy Baca (Rudy), Tami Rincon (Marty), Cisco Garcia (Cyrstin), Julia Garcia, Briana Garcia and Kyle Crichton. She also leaves behind a legacy of 16 great-grandchildren and countless people who considered her their Grandma. She was not only family but a friend to us all, her strength, wisdom, love and knowledge made her the heart and soul of this family. We will always be reminded of your warm smile every time we look at the moon. We love you. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 11:00 a.m. at East Lawn Cemetery, 5801 East Grant Road Tucson, Arizona. ARIZONA WAKELIN BRADSHAW CHAPEL assisted the family with arrangements.

To the Gingerich Family:
Both of our families have suffered too much in this lifetime. But try to remember your mother, grandmother great grandmother is home! She is with the loved ones gone before her. Keep your faith and stay strong for one another. One day we will be reunited together.
