Eleanor Lee St. John

ST. JOHN - Eleanor Lee, 63, passed away Friday, May 1, 2009, at home in Tulsa after a long battle with cancer. Born November 26, 1946, she was a long time resident of Tulsa. She was an avid fan and supporter of the University of Tulsa and member of the Golden Hurricane Club where she was a past president. She was employed by IBM where she was promoted to a management position in their Product Center Division. She continued in that position through ownership changes to Nynex and Computerland, from which she retired. Until her illness, she owned and operated Tulsa's first Super Suppers franchise operation. Her lifelong passion for home decorating involved her in the local Windsor Market. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Lee was preceded in death by: her parents, Eleanor Morgan and John Harkins; and her husband, Van M. St. John. Survivors include: daughters, Brandie Loftis and spouse of Cushing, OK, Lindsay Rodgers of Tulsa, Terry Durrett and spouse of Tulsa, Susan Teague and spouse of Claremore, OK; son, Mark St. John and spouse of Bixby, OK; sister, Beth Shields and spouse of Mexico, MO; brother, John Harkins of Tulsa; 10 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
