Clifford C. Neumann

Neumann, Clifford C. 40 Year Veteran St. Paul Fire Department Age 89, passed away April 13, 2009. Preceded in death by parents, Amy & Clare; sisters, Edith Lemire & Marie Lehman; & brother, Clarence. Survived by Ruth, his wife of nearly 70 years; son, Frank (Gwendolyn); daughter, Jean Evans (Ron Melander); grandchildren, Christopher, Peter (Stacey), Kelsey, Andrew Evans (Blakely Brown), & Ryan (Mary) Evans; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Jordan, Allison, Perry, Hunter, & Tessla; also nieces & nephews. Born February 14, 1920, Clifford was a loving and generous son, friend, husband, father, and just the best, most extraordinary grandpa. He served in the U.S. Navy at the end of WWII, worked his way up the ranks of the St. Paul Fire Department to Deputy Chief, retiring in 1988. Memorial service 11 AM Saturday, April 18 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME - ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B. Visitation from 10 - 11 AM Saturday.
