Uncle Knee, it´s so hard to believe we are approaching 20 years that you´ve been gone. People say with time the pain gets easier, but that´s a lie. I don´t think it gets easier, I think we just learn how to live with with the hurt and pain. So much would have been different if God would have chosen someone else instead of you. It´s just one of those things we question him about every day. I still share our memories with my kids and Grandson, but man I would do anything right now for one of your talks with all your words of wisdom and encouragement. Until I get to see you again, know that we think of you often and miss you every day.

How are we doing dad? I Cant believe its already been 17 years on Monday that you were taken away from us. Not a second goes by that you dont cross my mind or show me a sign that youre by my side every step of the way. I miss you more than I can even put into words! Dad its been a long while- but not a day goes by that I don't think about you or am reminded of you. I now have four kids you know this though- and they all know their grandpa Ernie and love having picnics with you. I talk to you often so you know my struggles and you also bring me comfort! forever daddy's princess :)

Since Ernie is gone we always have to lock the door, but when Ernie was here we didn't. When he was still here he use to always play with me when i was bored, and to my Mom, when she was sad, or stressed out he would comfort her, so to both of us he was a big teddy bear, and we loved him very much. So please don't be hard on us, we just lost our teddy bear.

My dad was the very best dad in the hole wide world. I miss him very very very bad. What we did the most is watch TV and play tackle football. What his favorite food is chily and pizza. What my favorite food is corn and bred sticks and pizza. We both have brown eyes like my dad. My dad worked at Vogels and they have my favorite games there. We both are best friends. Things sure are different here without you in our lives. Some days are better than others. Babe, think of you every minute, but you know. I've been keeping up on the kids games. Marcus is doing great, he is growing up fast,tall and handsome. Terri and I talk a lot and going to the kids games.Molly and Mitch are the same, wild for Terri, tried to see them as much as we can, Peanut needs them and they all still are family. I already talked to you several times this weekend. Marcus's team took 1st in the tournament. You already know I'm sure. Mitch's team is doing good. Mitch tries to be so much like Marcus. Molly just hangs out and thinks she is the mom sometimes. My family has been great with the kids. The kids are getting better. Lots of hard days still. Talk to you later.
