Harold ANDRES Obituary

Age 82 of Woodbury and Oakdale Passed away on September 7, 2022 He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Sr. and Helen; and wife of 42 years, Kathy. He will be missed by those who survived him: children, Ken (Joetta) Andres and Diane Prendergast; grandchildren, Lexie Andres, Dylan Andres, and Jimmy Prendergast; and sister, Carol (Dale) Koranda. Harry was a 1958 graduate of Mechanic Arts High School and the University of Minnesota in 1960. After seven years in the Army National Guard, Harry spent the remainder of his 34-year career at Burlington Northern Railroad, retiring in 1995. He enjoyed retirement by golfing, trying his luck at the casino, and following Minnesota sports. He especially enjoyed cheering on his grandkids in their activities, and weekly get-togethers with friends. Visitation 10am-11:30am; Service 11:30am-12 Noon; Lunch Noon, Thursday, September 15. Private family interment at Union Cemetery, Maplewood. Memorials preferred. 651-439-5511

To the family of Harry Andres

I had the pleasure of working with Harry at Burlington Northern RR for the latter years of his career. He was a great guy to work with and a good friend. Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Harry. I know how much he cherished his family.
