John SEIPEL Obituary

Lover of God, Family and Life, died peacefully at home in Eau Galle, WI on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the age of 82. John was born, baptized, raised and retired in Eau Galle with his working years spent living and raising a family of 8 in the St. Paul area, with his wife Joan of nearly 60 years. He was a devout Catholic, a Korean War Veteran, former employee of Swift & Co., a member of Laborers Local 132 and a lifetime member of the Tanner's Lake VFW. John was a dedicated husband, loving father and a hard worker. He loved polka dancing with his bride, playing cards, cold beer, fishing and telling jokes. John touched the lives of everyone he met, always had something good to say about everyone and loved to make people laugh. John is survived by his loving wife, Joan, children, Jerry (Gina), Jim (Betty), Jeanne (Macy) Brent, Joni (Rick) Kochendorfer, Jack (Laura), Judy (Tom) Lee, Jill (Tom) McGuire and Joy (Adam) Tebbutt, all of the Twin Cities area, 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. He "loved us all." Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 15, 2015 at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Eau Galle. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the church on Friday. Mrs Seips, Jerry, Jimmy, Jeanne, Joni, Jack, Judy, Jill and Joy--what a great family you have. You are very lucky to have such a wonderful husband and dad. It was always a treat to swing by O'Day and talk to Mr Seips in the driveway. I will miss him. Dave Betz

Mrs. Seipel and family, Mr. Seipel was the best, he could make you laugh, cry and think all in the same conversation. I can't imagine Growing up with out your family.
Mr. Seipel was one of the guys that would always relate to the things we were doing. He is one more of the great ones from the neighbor hood who is now enjoying one with the other great ones from our youth that have gone to be with our lord.
We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
