Cathy,

We just heard the news at the Lafayette club. I am so very sorry for your loss. I shared the news with the employees that Phil knew. They were all filled with disbelief. We each shared our favoite memory of Phil. He was one of the good guys taken to soon. My regret is that I didn't make it up to see the restaurant that he was so proud of.
Sincerely,

Scott Bremer

More than most, I know how trite it sounds to say that it wasn't Phil's time to Pass..but it truly wasn't his time. By nature, Barons' are not emotionally or verbally demonstrative people, and my heart is breaking for not telling Phil how much I loved him and admired him. During the 50 years we spent together, I just never really got around to it.... Not sure why I didn't make phone calls, fishing trips, visits, etc with him a priority; but I sure regret it now. My life is not the same without you, Brother. Love, Larry.

Cathy,
I'm so sorry to hear about Phil. He was a super guy. I always enjoyed talking with him when he'd come down to Drkula's and watch us bowl. I'll miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family (and Scooter).

Take care,

Dear Cathy,
We are shocked and saddened with the news of Phil's death. He was truely a great guy, and most of all your soul mate.
His Legacy will live on.
