Roger Gallus SAGSTETTER

Age 90 of Roseville, died Tuesday, October 18th at his home Roger grew up in St. Paul where he went to Harding High School and served as the Winter Carnival King of Hazel Park in 1949. He was a longtime resident of Roseville, MN. A jack of all trades, Roger held many jobs such as locksmith, milkman, restaurant owner, and retired from Land O'Lakes, Inc. as a Stationary Engineer. He was very proud of his Naval Reserves service. Roger loved to travel in the US and abroad, including Switzerland, Italy and Germany. He was an avid outdoorsman, happiest around his family with a fishing pole in his hands. Roger's smile lit any room and he had a passion and talent for socializing, be it around town or in his communities at Cherrywood or Viking Lakes. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Erma; daughter, Jean; and brothers, Ervin and Francis. He is survived by wife of 68 years, Dolores; children, Kathy (Pat) Ivory, Tom (MaryJane), Mark (Dawn), Paul (Jamie); brother, Dennis (Barb); grandchildren, Jim, Sarah, Dan (Steph), Ben (Amy), Curtis, Christopher and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Elliott, David, Matthew and Elizabeth; and many other loving friends, nieces, nephews, family, and furbabies. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 29th 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior, all at the Church of Corpus Christi, 2131 Fairview Ave. N., Roseville, MN. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Corpus Christi or the Salvation Army. 651-631-2727
