Hector Garcia Villarreta Obituary

Hector Enrique Garcia Villarreta, Logan, passed away peacefully at his home April 7, 2012. He was born Jan. 1, 1975, to his querida madre, Delmira Villarreta. He was raised in Bajia Murta, Chile. After finishing school, he came to work in the United States, where he later fell in love with his sweetheart, Kellie Jean Ercanbrack, daughter of Ralph and Jean Ercanbrack. They were married for time and all eternity April 4, 2007, in the Logan LDS Temple. A special blessing in his life was his daughter, Gabriella.
Those who knew him best appreciated his sense of humor, his passion for cooking and intricate jewelry making. His favorite pastime was to spend time with family and friends drinking máte and eating carne.
His life is a remarkable example of devotion, loyalty, faith and perseverance. He will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his wife and daughter, Kellie and Gabriella of Providence; mother, Delmira Villarreta of Bajia Murta, Chile; sister, Sandra Villarreta of Coyhaique, Chile; nephew, David Villarreta of Coyhaique, Chile; and many supportive family and friends.
Hector wanted to thank the many doctors, nurses and aides for their kind care and help throughout his extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. April 11 at the Providence LDS church, 420 W. 100 North, Providence, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. April 10 at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 E. 400 North, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. April 11 at the Providence church prior to the service.
