Jaimie Cuch Obituary

Jaimie Marlone Cuch, age 48, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 23, 2012, on one of the beautiful islands of Kauai, Hawaii.
He was born Dec. 12, 1963, in Roosevelt, to Jasper Weech, Jr., and Irene Cesspooch Cuch. He married Sunbeam George and they later divorced. He married Pamela Martin on Jan. 17, 2008, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Jaimie graduated in May of 1982 from the Sherman Indian High School in Riverside, Calif. He attended Colorado State College studying Petroleum Engineering and Utah State University majoring in Fisheries Management and minoring in Wildlife Management. He had been employed with the Ute Tribe in the Fish and Wildlife Department and with the Oil and Gas Department. He served on the board of the Intertribal Bison Cooperative which helped manage the bison on tribal lands. He had great respect for all animals, especially the bison. He enjoyed riding on the helicopter that would be used to round up and take a count of the different wildlife.
He had the "gift of gab" and could make friends with anyone. He was an avid outdoorsman: hunting, fishing, and boating. He liked to cook and was well known for the best Chili around.
Jaimie loved his family and especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was the organizer of all the family get-togethers.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Martin Cuch; mother, Irene Cuch; daughters, Pamela Irene (Thomas Tahguv) Cuch; Janel Laureen Cuch; Randall James Cuch, all of Ft. Duchesne; step-children, Colin Rian Manning, Kyle Ted Manning, Monie Rose Manning; grandchildren, Shawn, Nate, Laureena; step-grandchildren, Rian, Draven, Izabella, Kayden; brothers and sisters, Benjamin Earl Cuch; Rebecca Cuch, both of Ft. Duchesne; Rozanna Cuch, LaPoint; Louwanda Gray; Darren Cuch, Valgene Cuch, all of Ft. Duchesne; aunt, Alice Dushane, Ft. Duchesne; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jasper; an infant nephew, Morgan Gray, and many aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held on Tues., July 3 at 10 a.m. at the Ft. Duchesne Gym.
He will be taken to his home in Ft. Duchesne on Monday at 4 p.m. Burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery under direction of the Hullinger Mortuary. Condolences may be shared at www.hullingermortuary.com

I am so sorry of Jaimie's passing, I never knew him personally, but I knew him as being Lou and Rosana's older brother and I think I attended West Jr. High School with him for about a year. I was a Freshman and he a Senior.
