Renee' (Peugh) Pagan

Renee' (Peugh) Pagan died as a result of heart failure. The past number of years, she had health complications from diabetes, kidney and heart disease. She was hospitalized two weeks before Christmas and, until her death, was in various rehab centers and hospitals in Northern and Central California. Her last place of residence was Sonoma Memorial Medical Center in Modesto. Renee' was born in San Francisco and, before her first birthday, moved with her parents, Ed and Rachel Peugh, to Ukiah. She went to local schools until the beginning of 12th grade. She graduated from Rio Linda Academy, a Christian 9-12 grade school, located in Healdsburg. She became a beautician and worked about ten years in this field. She attended floral arranging classes at Santa Rosa J.C while living in Santa Rosa. She earned an Early Childhood Development A.A. degree from Mendocino College in 2004 and worked several years in the field she most loved. She was married to Randy Pagan for 16 years. In 2007, at various times, she became a foster Mom to a total of three young boys, one of whom became her son, Cody Pagan. The other two boys, James Webber and AJ Frease continue to have frequent contact with the family grandparents. Renee' became a Master Guide and worked for many years with Willits Betumki Pathfinder Club, a coed-based Christian young peoples' club for ages 10-15. The club has weekly meetings to learn about hobbies, nature and crafts. It participates in scheduled campouts and community service projects. She taught a variety of crafts for the Betumki Club, participated in other community-based events, as well as went to numerous Northern California Club annual activities. She attended several international conventions for Pathfinder Clubs and leader participants, located in Oshkosh, WI. She enjoyed collecting and trading lapel pins coming from various parts of the world, as she attended conventions. Over the years, Renee' created many beautiful floral arrangements, Christmas wreaths and ornaments; was a good seamstress, an excellent cook and enjoyed making gift items for friends and family. Eversole Mortuary is in charge of her burial arrangements. She will be interned beside her Dad. Renee' believed in Biblical truths and loved her Creator. Her family is confident that she will have a place in heaven at the time of her resurrection. A celebration of life service is planned for 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2021, at the Willits SDA Church, 399 West Mendocino Avenue in Willits.
