Peter Steady Obituary
Pete was born Aug 20th, 1950 in Laconia, NH to the late Pearl Evelyn Chapman and Edward "Big Ed" Steady. He graduated from MMHS in 1968 and went on to earn an Associates in Engineering from NHIT in 1970. His studies and natural mathematical ability led Pete to have many interesting jobs; notable to NH's history was his time building coaches for the Mt. Washington Cog Railway.
Pete's favorite role was being a dad. He spent many winters visiting "His Girls" and travelling in his self-converted van. His sense of adventure even led him to solo-travel Thailand's Elephant Trail by motorcycle.
Pete will be remembered by many, namely his daughters Patricia Asencio and Pearl Steady; their mother Pat Steady, of Lancaster, NH; his brother Paul Steady, of Thornton, NH and last but not least his beloved chainsaws!
Family and friends are invited to Pete's Celebration of Life at Jericho State Park, Berlin NH 1pm Saturday, July 9th.
