MANCHESTER -- Roland Lavallee, 71, of Manchester, died Dec. 30, 2008, at Harborside Health Care Center in Bedford.
He was born March 5, 1937, in Manchester, to George A. and Alida A. (Marier) Lavallee. He attended St. George School. He worked at J.F. McElwain, Pandora Mill, Steve's Restaurant, Chez Vachon Restaurant and other various restaurants.
He was a giving man who often volunteered his time at New Horizons. He enjoyed spending time bowling and fishing. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a former member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4961 - Father Langlois, and Council 626 - Bishop Bradley.
He is survived by his five brothers and sisters, Jean Lavallee of Merrimack, Paul Lavallee of Hooksett, Madeline Boucher of Manchester, Louise Gosselin of Sun City West, Ariz., and Laurette Jolin of Manchester; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
IN HIS LIFE: He is also survived by a godchild, Paul Lavallee of Dunbarton.
