Karalabos Plaitis Obituary

My husband, Karalabos Plaitis, passed away peacefully in October 2, 2017, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks and my gratefulness to the staff of the Emergency

Department of the Royal Victoria Hospital. Their kindness, excellent caring, and sincere concern made everything better and were a great encouragementduring his final hours. I would also like to express my gratitude to Dr. John Storring and his team of the Department of Hematology of the Royal Victoria Hospital for lending all their skills ? medical and humanitarian ? to my husband's case during the two years of his illness. Lastly I would like to thank Dr. Max Katz and Dr. Shereen Ghali and their team of the Lakeshore General Hospital for the time they devoted to making the diagnosis and treating

him with great care. The thoughtfulness and empathy we received from all doctors who looked over him has been of great help to

us. Despite his illness, my husband felt privileged, to the very end, to be treated by such exceptional scientists and human beings. He felt that there were no words to express his gratitude for their services. I will always be grateful for their
