Anita Chavira Obituary
Oxnard, CA
Anita M. Chavira, 59, of Oxnard, died at 12:30 a.m. Monday, October 16th in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 24, 1958 in Oxnard, California to Ysabel and Erlinda Franco. She was the beloved wife of Nick Chavira for 42 years, her high school sweet heart.
Also surviving are her three daughters, Arcenia (Gavin) Kumar of San Diego, Ca., Laura (Adrian) Cabrales of Oxnard, Ca., and Ruth (Kristopher) Stewart of Colorado Springs, Co.; seven grandchildren, Adrian (Sophia), Gavin, Christian, Nikki, Jacob, Arcenia, and Arianna; one sister Annette; three brothers Michael Franco, Romaldo Franco, and Andres Franco.
In addition to her mother and father, Anita was preceded in death by her sister, Arcenia Franco.
She loved gambling in Vegas and going on cruises as well as spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.
The visitation is from 5-7 pm on Wednesday October 18, 2017 with Rosary starting at 7, at Reardons Funeral Home. The Mass will follow at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. The burial will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery.
