Estella Real (1927 - 2012)

Estella Real (Moms), passed away at the home of her daughter in Lancaster CA, Feb 20, 2012. She was 84 years of age.

Estella was born Estella Carlos on June 27, 1928 in Santa Paula CA. She grew up in Piru where she met and married Richard H. Real. After starting a family, they eventually bought their first home in Castaic Ca. where she later retired to be a wife and homemaker. After the passing of her husband of 56 yrs, she moved to Lancaster CA in 2004 where she lived with, was loved and cared for by her daughter Chris. She will be remembered by some for her big heart and how she helped stress the importance of standing up for one's self and speaking one's mind.

Estella is survived by her son Michael Real, daughter Christina Childs, grandsons Micha Torgerson and Jacob Real, and four great- grandchildren. P.S. Watch out Pops, Moms on her way!

Rosary and Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 1st, at San Salvador Church, 4045 E. Center St., Piru Ca., with inurnment to follow at Piru District Cemetery, in Piru.
