John was my daughters first soccer coach. She was also on the team that went to New York. He always made sure the kids had fun while playing. RIP John. I hope they have soccer in heaven!

Miss your smile, sense of humor, and easy-going nature. Reminiscing soccer games, sunshine, and sailboats over a cup of English breakfast tea in your honor this morning. Love you, Grandpa!

Starting as a 10-year old who just moved to Ventura with no connections, I then had the privilege of growing up with my friend Adrian around the Crisp household, playing countless hours of basketball in their backyard and being included in many of the family activities...AYSO, VYBA, Raytheon picnics, Sunday night English football on UHF, etc.
I admire John and Gwen, and deeply appreciate everything they did for us kids.

I have so many fond memories of John Crisp. From my early days as a player with AYSO and all the way through my coaching days, he was always such a positive influence and a great friend. Thank you John for having always been there. My prayers are with the Crisp family.
