Joseph Thomas O'Brien

Thousand Oaks, CA

Joseph (Joe) Thomas O'Brien was welcomed by the Lord with open arms on November 30, 2018 at the age of 77. He was born October 3, 1941 to Edward and Anna O'Brien of Camden, New Jersey. He married his beautiful bride Elizabeth Chambers in 1970. They had 3 Children and were happily married for 48 years.

A resident of Thousand Oaks for 40 years, Joe worked for Hewlett Packard for 34 years and retired in 2007. He was very involved in the St. Paschal Baylon Parish. He was active in the Parish School where his children attended and very involved in the St. Paschal Baylon Men's Club. For 25 of those years he was instrumental in the setup, running and tear down of the annual parish festival.

Faith, Family, Friends and USC Football were very important to Joe. He was active in the Church and enjoyed traveling with friends. Joe also attended his grandchildren's various plays, academic functions, and sporting events. These were all the highlights of his life.

Joe leaves behind his devoted wife Elizabeth O'Brien, Daughter Megan (Fred) Geudeker of Thousand Oaks, CA; Daughter Kelly (Nathan) Bradley of Pasadena, CA; Son Sean (Roia) O'Brien of Thousand Oaks, CA.; Grandchildren: Amanda, Connor and Hannah Geudeker ~ Tyler, Savannah, Jazlyn and Ella Bradley ~ Blake and Delilah O'Brien.
