To Paul, Denita, Dewayne & Marcus: You had a wonderful Dad. He was more like a brother to me than a brother-in-law. I will miss him so much. Joyce, may Jehovah God thru his son Jesus Christ give you the strength to endure this time of sorrow. I'm here for you. Life will never be the same. Love Ya, Lynn

Joyce:

We are so sorry to learn of your loss. Lester and you were so important in our lives. Michael (Gilmer) remembers you both and Rebecca (Weiner) and I are thankful for the year you and Lester took care of him for us. I lost Eileen this past December, but we always remembered Lesters kindness to us. He was a special person and, I am sure, will be fondly remembered by all.

To Lester's Family - I worked with Lester when he was a bus driver at SCAT. He raised the bar to what a good driver should be. Lester was a perfect gentleman, respectful and helpful. He will be deeply missed by those he worked with. My deepest sympathy to his family.

I'm Hank Gilmore, the first cousin of Lester's wife, Joyce. I first met Lester in the early 1970's when they still lived in Los Angeles. Lester was more than just a cousin-in-law. He was a great friend and a very good person. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

My condolences to Joyce and the family and friends of Lester. He was a perfect gentleman and a great asset to South Coast Area Transit (SCAT). He was the best operator for SCAT and won many Bus Roadeos, wherein he travelled to a number of cities in the U.S. representing SCAT. He was an impeccable dresser and was a true model for everyone he worked with. He will be missed, however he will be long remembered with those that worked alongside him.

I will miss my brother-in-law dearly. We have wonderful times together. He was a hands on Uncle and was always there to give direction to his nephews and nieces (it takes a Village). We camped, went to amusement parks, had barbecues, went fishing, etc. He was always ready to do family events and have fun! I know he realized how much his family loved him and he will be deeply missed by all of us. Our family will not be the same without him. We love you Lester. Your Sister (sister-in-law), Deb

Uncle Lester. or when I was 3 it was Uncle Yester. I remember dancing in the living room with him to Rock With You from Michael Jackson, when I was 10.
You sure will be missed. You were and will always be a fantastic person.
