Marjorie Ann Churchill Vanzant passed away in Henderson NV on Feb. 2, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Malaga, CA on March 11, 1938 and spent most of her youth in the Fresno, CA area. As an adult she was a resident of Visalia CA and most recently Henderson NV. Marjorie graduated from Tranquility H.S. in 1955. Marjorie was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 1957. Together with her husband Harold, Marjorie owned and operated Halmar Company in Visalia, CA.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of 49 years Harold Vanzant: daughters Kimberly Ann Peste, Tamara Marie Peste, Mori Rhea (Drew) Yancey, stepchildren Les (Marlene) Vanzant, Craig (Joyce) Vanzant, Bradley Vanzant & Lori Vanzant, sisters Dorothy Collins, Peggy Thompson & Viola Miller, grandchildren Kyle, Collin, Shelby, Bryan, Drew, C.J., Ashley, John & Patrick, plus numerous nieces & nephews. Preceding her in death are her brothers Richard Churchill, Sonny Churchill, parents Ethel Washer Churchill & Martin Churchill of Fresno.
In loving memory of Marjorie, the family asks that you donate to your local Hospice. Family & friends are invited to attend a celebration of life in her honor on Saturday, Mar. 12th at Piccadilly Inn, 2305 W Shaw Avenue, Fresno from 11am to 3pm.

I am so sorry to hear about her passing. I have been trying to locate her after she left as she did not have the correct email or did she have mine as it was cancelled shortly after she left. Please tell Harold that I am deeply sorry about her passing.
