Cecil, I am so sad that you have not been here to share all the compliments for you work on my beautiful home HAWKESDENE. You made so many photos for me to remember all the details of each phase of your greatest work and all the great ideas you helped me with. I want to call you all the time to ask you a question about the house, where to find something. No one could ever replace you. I want to say thank you again for all the great memories we shared for over 6/7 years building our mansion. I loved our friendship and I miss you.

I can't believe it has been this many years since Cecil died. I still work with Mike Clark and often we all talk about Cecil and what a great man he was. He worked so diligently on the Hawkins house, i'm not sure he ever went home, he was on it and took care of the project so thoroughly and i have to say i have never worked with anyone since who had such dedication and patience. I miss him still and will always treasure being his friend.

Bub, I miss you so very much. I never knew how much I love and miss you. Smokey looks for you to drive up every night. I know that you aren't in pain now and I'm glad about that, and I know that you are with your entire family and everybody's happy- especially Billie Jean, but that doesn't take away my pain. I miss you and love you very much and I know that I will see you again- Till then- I love you and miss you.
Love,
Janie

Bub, I miss you so very much. I think that you'll be driving up almost every night. I never knew how much I miss you and love you. Smokey looks for you every night too. I know that you're not hurting anymore and also I know that you are with your entire family now and I know that everybody is happy-especially Billie Jean, but right now that doesn't take away my pain. I wish that you were still here with me. I will always love you and miss you and I know that I will get to see you again. Till then- Love always

To believe in a balance of life is to travel to both ends of its spectrum. The people we meet along life's journey are many, the friends we make few. I am fortunate that our lives passed along the way and forever grateful of the friendship we shared. I will truly miss you, My Friend. With Love and Sorrow

It is with great sadness and many fond and happy memories that I offer my condolences to Cecil's family. A dear friend for many years, Cecil stood as best man at my wedding and was a close confidant for much of that time. Though I haven't been in touch for a while, my heart bleeds tears with this loss.

I wish to express my sense of deep loss over the news of Cecil's death, I had just seen him two weeks ago and he was feeling good and said everything was great between he and Janie and he was working for Mike again. It was just great to see him in such good shape. He was a great man who I had the pleasure of working with and he will be sorely missed. My very best wishes to his loved ones.
