Sarah Ellen Duggan

Sarah Ellen Duggan, 100, of Woodway, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2007, in Woodway. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 20, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors with Dr. Robert Thrift officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Duggan was born June 25, 1906, in Johnstown, Mo., to parents, Samuel and Amy Smith Miller. She married Harley Duggan Sept. 23, 1929, in Miami, Okla., and he preceded her in death Sept. 22, 1957. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hewitt. Survivors include a son, Guy Duggan and wife, Florine of Hewitt; a sister, Thelma Jones of Commerce, Okla.; grandchildren, Guyleen Patterson of Bentonville, Ark., Traci Thrift and husband, Dr. Robert Thrift of China Spring, David Duggan and wife, Stephanie of Buda, and Lisa Burch of Lorena; great-grandchildren, Kelsee and Duggan Burch, Keneth and Lauren Lamadrid, and Justin, Cody and Billy Duggan.
