Priscilla May Wilson Priscilla May Wilson was born February 23, 1963 to Everett and Donna Wilson in Escanaba, Michigan. She was the third of seven children. In the Spring of 1966, the family moved to Ceresco, Nebraska. She attended elementary school in Ceresco and grade 7 at Raymond Central Junior/Senior High School. In November 1976, the family moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. She completed grade eight at Greystone Heights Elementary School. She attended High School at Evan Hardy Collegiate, class of 1981. In High School she was active in the school band(flute), the school newspaper, the choral group Seven Aside and the academic quiz team Reach for the Top which made it to the national semi finals, and she performed in a few High School variety shows. She was an active member of College Park Covenant Church and frequently provided special music for the services that included singing duets with her mother. After graduation, Priscilla had some adventures. She volunteered for Katimavik, a Canadian Service Organization that does community programs all over Canada. She worked in Alaska, lived in Idaho, attended Covenant Bible College in Prince Albert, Nebraska Christian School in Norfolk, Nebraska and worked as a dispatcher for the Plainview Police and Fire Department. During that time, she struggled with severe depression that sometimes required hospitalization. In 1993 she wrote a powerful piece for the Covenant Companion describing her experience as a Christian with mental illness. This struggle lasted the rest of her life. She was grateful for the love and support of her family and friends. In November 2017, she suffered a brain injury after a fall and was placed in Azaria Care facility. Priscilla loved visitors and visiting. Video calls were a great blessing and life line for her. On February 7, 2024, Priscilla passed away peacefully. We remember her razor sharp mind and wit, her amazing talent in all of the arts and her gift of conversation. She is preceded in death by her brother Joel. She is survived by her parents, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 4 in laws, 10 nieces and nephews and 4 grand nieces and nephews. Priscilla is now at peace and at home with our Lord. She once said that at the Heavenly table she will be sitting with the rowdies. A memorial service in honor of Priscilla will be held Saturday, February 24, 11a.m.at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo, Nebraska. Arrangements by Marcy Mortuary, Ashland, NE
