I met Gerry in 1976. He was my first friend since I moved to Boston. We were very good friends and remained in touch. I found out because a letter I wrote to Gerry was returned as undeliverable. He was a gentle soul, modest and had a great sense of humor. Very appreciative human being. He was an important friend to me. We met washing dishes at Legal Seafoods. I helped him get his job at Erewhon. I loved Gerry and will miss him greatly. All my best to his family. Katherine

To Danny, Elaine, Michael, Brian and Gerald's two sons. I am so sorry to hear about Gerald's passing. He was one of my first friends. I recently reconnected with Gerald on Facebook. I am so grateful I was able to correspond with him before his sudden death.

To the Family of Gerald (Gerry) Harvey:
Sincere and heartfelt condolences to you, from many of us who knew him, as former classmates in Waltham. We are saddened by the news of his unexpected passing.
Several of us had been corresponding with him over the past few years, reacquainting ourselves with him and sharing some of our lives' histories.
He is now, and will always be, fondly remembered, in thoughts and prayers, by the members of the Saint Mary's High School Class of 1967.
