Barbara Marie Gregory  
Barbara Gregory, loving mother, transitioned peacefully on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the age of 92. Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on September 13, 1925, Barbara was a lover of the ocean and dance, fashionable dress and high heels, cooking, entertaining, and especially raising her six children. In her latter years, there was nothing that brought her more joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren (including the many "grand dogs").Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, William and Elizabeth (O'Day) Gregory, her brothers, Raymond and William Gregory, and her two devoted sons, Paul James Regan, and Kevin William ReganBarbara is survived by her children, Elizabeth and Ron Cogswell, J. Gregory and Suzanne Regan, David Regan, and Joan Regan Hayner; daughters-in-law, Chris Noziglia Regan and Sue Shannon Regan; grandchildren, Brendan and Dillon Regan, Emily Regan, Nicholas and Casey Regan, Elizabeth and Gregory Hayner, and many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the many nurses, CNAs, and other staff members at Culpepper Gardens and The Jefferson Senior Living centers in Arlington, Virginia. Many of you became Mom's best friends, and we are so grateful for your loving care of our Mother. You are truly angels doing God's work. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Baileys Crossroads, Virginia. A Celebration of Barbara's life with family and friends will be held at Clyde's at Mark Center, Alexandria, Virginia at 2:00 pm following the burial at Columbia Gardens Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Culpepper Gardens Senior Housing, Arlington, Virginia, Community Hospice, or to the Maryknoll Missions.
