Fr. Clement was a wonderful confessor. He always radiated that peace and mercy of God, whenever I met him in the confessional. I attended his memorial Mass at the Crypt Church of the Basilica of the Immaculate conception in DC, in 2009 and it was a moving ceremony to hear from his confrere Fr. John- who said, Fr. Clement was found dead in his room, with a radiant smile. A sure sign that he just saw something beautiful (a beatific vision perhaps) before he parted from this world. I am sure he is in heaven interceding for us. I have always treasured his memory and I keep his memorabilia in my prayer desk in the chapel, to always reflect how kind and gracious he was.

I know that Fr. Clement is up in heaven now with my Dad and Mom. My Dad was Joe Murray, Fr. Clement's first cousin. He married Mom and Dad at St. Mary's in Pittsfield and as a child my sister and I got to see Fr. Clement whenever he was in town. Wonderful memories I have of him and my Dad's family.
