Colette Kent Obituary
COLETTE RENEE KENT
Passed away on December 1, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. at the age of 90. She died at her home in Chevy Chase Maryland. Her keen observations and critiques are already sorely missed. Her husband, Donald, preceded her about two years ago. Her four children survive her, Sebastian, Michael, Sylvia and Alexander as well as her three grandchildren, Catherine, Charles and Madeleine.Colette led an adventurous life. She was born in Pantin, France on March 4, 1921. And she lived in many countries. She was a member of the American Translator's Association, the Association of American Foreign Service Wives and many other associations. The Memorial Service will be at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington Virginia at 2 p.m. on December 17, 2011. Then sandwiches and refreshments will be served in the hall adjacent to the church. The burial will follow at the Woodville Cemetery, nearby. Please email [email protected] for more information or directions. The emails people send allow us to estimate how many will attend. The Trinity Church is located at 379 Gay Street in Washington, Virginia, 22747.
