DOROTHY MAE CLAYTON (Age 80)
Passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 12, 2013. Predeceased by her husband, Edward Clayton. She is survived by her children; Edward (Valerie) Clayton, Johnny (Cass) Clayton, Mitchell A. Clayton; step-daughter, Komala Carter; grandchildren, Myron Miles-Clayton, Dhonielle J. Clayton, Brandon C. Clayton, Bart McKinnon; great grandchildren, Myron M. Miles-Clayton, Riley N. Clayton, Dyson Clayton; sisters Barbara A. Jones, Juanita Stevenson, Marjorie Willis; brothers, Albert Q. McGee, Buford McGee, Bernard McGee, James McGee and many other loving family members. Dorothy spent over 25 years as an active duty Army wife, briefly living overseas in Hawaii and Germany. After her husband's retirement in 1972, she started her own day care services business in Brookeville, Maryland, which she owned and operated for over 33 years. A Wake is scheduled for Friday, October 18, 2013 at 9:30 a.m., with the service to follow at 11 a.m. at The People's Community Baptist Church, 31 Norwood Road, Silver Spring, Maryland 20905.
