DOROTHY JEANINE DUNNELLS YOUNG  (Age 52)  
Died on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at her home in Sharpsburg, GA. She was born June 20, 1959, one of six children to Arnold Dunnells and the late Ethel Rachel Harrell Dunnells. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by sister, Thresa Ann Dunnells; and brother, Michael Hugh Dunnells. After graduating from high school in Richlands, NC she attended college at North Carolina State University. She worked for over ten years as Office Manager for Lab Services at Biospherics in Beltsville, MD. She coached basketball and softball for the Recreation Department and was a Girl Scout Troop Leader. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.Survivors include husband, Michael Young, Sr. of Sharpsburg, GA; daughter, Rachel Henderson and her husband, Drew of Hogansville, GA; son, Michael Young, Jr. of Sharpsburg, GA; father, Master Gunnery Sgt. Arnold Dunnells, USMC (Ret.) of Richlands, NC; brothers, Niles Dunnells and his wife Patricia of Phoenix, AZ, William "Bill" Dunnells and his wife, Susan of Stafford, VA, Col. Patrick Dunnells and his wife, Cheryl of O'Fallon, IL; grandchildren, Trevor Sawyers, Jacob Henderson, Savannah Henderson, Andy Henderson, Parker Henderson, Annabella Young, Audrey Young; nieces, nephews, and members of extended family.The memorial service is Friday, October 7, 2011 at 5 p.m. at Infant of Prague Catholic Church in Jacksonville, NC.
