EDWARD ANTHONY SMITH SR. (Age 78)
On Tuesday, September 27, 2022, of College Park, MD. Loving father of Christopher M. (Amy) Smith, Edward A. Smith, Jr. and Melissa M. Smith. Grandfather of Madeleine Smith, Christopher M. Smith, Jr. and Allean LeFlore. Brother of Timothy J. (Barbara) Smith, Philip A. (Elizabeth) Smith, Jr. and the late Robert J. Smith. Also survived by seven nieces and nephews: Timothy Smith Jr., Thomas Smith, Patrick Smith, Christina Smith, Carly Smith, Kelly Smith and Daniel Smith. Visitation will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, October 2, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew Apostle Church, 11600 Kemp Mill Rd., Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 11 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium at later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Adler Center for Caring, 24419 Millstream Dr., Aldie, VA 20105 (703) 957-1800.
